Recycled Bag!!
Howdy!!
The purse is complete!! WOW what a wild journey this was. This is a prtotype of coarse but a very cute prototype, if I do say so myself!!!
The bag is made a recycled dog food tear resistant 20lb bag (I used Purina), handle and zipper is from a bag I no longer use, 100% cotton fabric remenants from other projects, and 100% cotton quilt batting remenants from the inside of the bag!!

Think Green Update 05/24
Howdy!
The purse is in the works and its a dandy!! I have not posted pics as stated as I had to "recycle" some articles I was going to use.
I am having a ball, no pun intended either, with making this bag, it will be hard to part with it!! I will have the finished product pics posted this evening!!

Think green....not Kermit either
Howdy!!
Do you like to save things to re-use them? Do you like to have unique items? If you said YES to any of these questions you will love what I am about to make in the coming week.
A recycled purse even a dog could love!! Thats right a dog!! This purse I am making will be made out of a dog food bag ! (minus the kibble of coarse!) This purse will have nylon straps, a pocket or two on the outside, 2 pockets on the inside, then lined with fun cotton fabric, and a zippered top. Are you excited yet, I know I am!!
Just imagine the inquires and looks you will get with this unique bag on your shoulder.
I will post the fabrics I will be using and then the big reveal later in the week.

5-in-1 Interchangable Purse
For your romantic, professional, casual, everyday wear this purse, with its black shell, has you covered. From working in the office to running an errand a quick 3 minute change and you are ready to walk out the door. Wait there's more, a matching simple black and red wallet with 4 credit card slots and a place for your money. This wallet can be left flat or folded in half to be placed in one of the 6 inside pockets.
This purse has 2 interchangeable sleeves, different patterns on each side, magnetic "button" closure, long handles, 6 inside pockets (3 each side), and small pockets inbetween the inside pockets for small items such as pens.
The materials used in this purse was cotton, cotton/blend, brocade and twill.

This is an Indian inspired pouch made of cotton fabric and suade trim. Inside two pockets, one snap one zip. Retail $15
Oriental inspired purse with matching wallet (not pictured). This purse has 2 side pockets suitable for keys or a small cell phone. Red jeweled brooch on the outside. One pocket inside with two smaller pockets attached. Wallet (not pictured) can hold 6 credit cards and a pocket for money or check book. Retail price for this set is $25.
